"We made Tom’s job pretty difficult, but he was able to rise to the challenge. He had to jackhammer out a very old reinforced concrete patio before he could start work on the new design. The new design had few straight edges to work with and involved a complex foundation of concrete and sand with extremely tight grade tolerance because of mistakes a prior contractor had made. Almost every single stone had to be custom cut to fit. While the job required more work than originally expected, Tom held to his original quote without complaint or request for adjustment. The final product was beautiful and looks like it will last forever. Our thanks to Tom, we look forward to working with them again in the future."
"Tom just did a walkway for my front yard. He was the lowest of the three bids, and he did a wonderful job. He replaced an old walkway and expanded it both wider and longer. He also raised the walkway to the level of my porch so that it was wheel chair accessible. He matched the color of my porch and stamped it to look like cobblestone. I am thrilled with the work, and would recommend him to anyone who needed concrete work. He kept me involved in the project to make sure that got exactly what I wanted."

"I called six concrete contractors to replace my 2700 square foot asphalt driveway with concrete and Tom contacted me and showed up the same day I called and presented me with an estimate on the spot. I found Tom's ad for Northwest Concrete & Landscape Specialty, LLC in the Mukilteo Beacon newspaper after trying the phone book and other online possibilities but received little response.
I did receive a few other estimates but Tom's was very competitive and he indicated he could start right away so I called him the next day and we chose a day to start. Due to bad weather Tom called me and pushed the job back one day which was justifiable, and he showed up ready to go the next day right on time, in fact a little early.
The job took six days to complete, although it could have been five and maybe even four if he didn't have to wait an extra day for the dumpster contractor out of Seattle to pick up the full dumpster and deliver another one. Tom had to handle the broken pieces of asphalt and concrete multiple times to keep moving with the project instead of just putting the scrap in a waiting dumpster, a little frustration for Tom for sure. Tom spent a lot of time doing the job just how I wanted it and showed great concrete skill in the finished product.
Tom is a very skilled finisher and knows how the job should look and answered all my questions and concerns along the way. When the project was completed to my satisfaction, the area was cleaned up, and I paid the remaining balance. I am a very satisfied customer and I would not hesitate to recommend Tom to others for their concrete work."

"Tom Nguyen is a different kind of business man. Tom is the owner of Northwest Concrete & Landscape Specialty, LLC. I happened to find Tom in the Everett Herald Newspaper, in the contractor's section.
I had been trying to find someone that did concrete work that didn't charge an arm and a leg. I called Tom and he showed up as promised, he measured the area that I wanted for my pad in front on my garage, and he told me the price. I told Tom that I had 2 other quotes coming and I would call him if they didn't meet or exceed his quote. Tom got the job and we made the agreement and I paid him a deposit, the deposit was to buy the concrete.
Tom showed up on Monday May 13, and started promptly at 8:00 am, he hand dug an area of 19 feet wide by 27 feet long and 4 inches deep, this was completed in 4 hours, unfortunately luck was not with us, it rained so hard we had to cancel the job, and start over on Tuesday. Tom had scheduled the concrete delivery for 2:00 pm, and I had left the house for an appointment and Tom showed up while I was gone, and so did the concrete. By the time I got home, it was just about done.
Tom's attention to detail was great, he cleaned up as he went along and my job was complete, no rain, and a beautiful concrete pad that took 20 years in the making, my job is done, may your job be as good as mine was. At the moment I have another concrete job for Tom. Call him you will not be disappointed."

After searching for 6 months to fina a concrete contractor that would do a small job, my neighbor gave me a business card for NW Concrete Speciality. They came out the same day that I called and started the next day. They patched 4 corners of my aggregate driveway that had all cracked off due to ants undermining the area. They matched up the concrete, and it looks amazing. The color is slightly lighter, but when I pressure wash the rest of the driveway, I doubt that you will even notice the repaired sections. I highly recommended this company for concrete jobs, large or small.
